Access Mail
Ascertaining the most suitable solution is an intuitive process. And this intuitive process must stem from learning assimilated through handling a wide range of projects for a scalable span of time.
Configuring Outlook 2002 and 2003
- Start Outlook
- From the "Tools" menu, select "E-mail Accounts"
- Click the "Add a new e-mail account" button and click "Next >"
- Select "POP" or "IMAP" and click "Next >" (what's the difference?)
- In the "User Information" section, enter your name and e-mail address
- In the "Server Information" section, enter your Incoming and Outgoing mail servers
- In the "Logon Information" section, enter your username (the portion of your email address to the left of the @ sign)
- Click the "More Settings..." button
- Click the "Advanced" tab
- Under "Server Timeouts" move the slider to the right so that the timeout is between 2 and 3 minutes
- Click the "OK" button
- Click the "Next >" button
- Click the "Finish" button
