Configuring Mozilla for E-Mail

Start Mozilla
From the "Window" menu select "Mail & Newsgroups"
Click the "Create a new account" link
Select "Email account" and click the "Next >" button
Enter your name and your email address; click the "Next >" button
In the "Incoming mail server" box enter your mail server; click the "Next >" button
Enter your username ("jersmith" in the example "jersmith@aesasp.com"); click the "Next >" button
Give the account a meaningful name, like "aes" and click the "Next >" button
Click the "Finish" button

Not done yet! There's one more set of steps:

From the "Edit" menu, select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings"
Click on "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" in the list on the left
In the server name box, enter your outgoing mail server name
Uncheck the "Use name and password" check box (unless required by your ISP)
Click OK
