Client Information:
Astral Management Consultants is a financial and management services lending company. They offer their services to corporate establishments all over India, with their head office in Coimbatore and branches in Cochin, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Chief Motto of the project:
AES Technologies was given the honor of creating an easy-to-use basic to middle level ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application for Astral. The main motto of the project was to manage all the details in hand effectively without having to face any complexities in the process, by the users.

Exact Requirement:
The main requirements by Astral were to have applications for Employer Management, Customer Management, Workflow management and finally the Administration management.

The proposal:
We at AES gave the perfect answer to all their requirements in the form of our EZ (Pronounced as Eazy) Track application. This consists of several functions that take care of the various necessities of Astral.

The Admin Panel:
  • Main:
    The Main or the Masters panel has various features like search/add/delete/modify an existing department in the organization, a business process, staff details, customer details, the various working units of the customer, total holidays provided by the organization, organizational news etc. Details like contact person in customer's office, mailing list category, scheduling of services availed by the customer, allocating resources to various customers etc. This panel also has a good feature of updating the Star employee of the week/month/year etc, which would be a source of inspiration for the employees.
  • The Transaction Panel:
    This basically has all the applications that are used in the transaction procedure. This includes maintaining Daily time sheets, pending leave application details, appraisal results of the staff, the list employees on leave, edit Time sheets that were already filled by the employees and Edit the number of leaves granted to the employee.
  • The Reports Panel:
    This panel has various reports that are useful for various needs. These include reports of the Audit status that were conducted and those to be conducted, reports for the recovery factor namely the project owner-wise, the client-wise and the service group-wise. Other reports include for Non-billable hours, the budgeted Vs actual delays, the birthday and wedding reports etc. It also has various reports on staff like the staff promotion details, total leave report, training undergone, the type of certifications completed by the staff in each department, the staff attrition rate, staff allocation and human resource available in hand, over/under loaded staff etc. Basically, it generates reports on absolutely anything that is expected.
  • The Options Panel:
    This panel gives various options like change password, escalation of leave requests, feedback from staff, the service dashboard, updates etc.
  • The Utilities panel:
    This has the backups of absolutely any data needed, along with the functions like restore back ups, offering various privileges to the users and year end processing data.
  • Home Page:
    This page has the home page that displays the news, star performer, employee birthdays/wedding anniversaries etc. Also has the service dashboard page that shows the various services managed by the admin panel.

The Staff Panel
This has the various features that the staff can perform in the site like the time sheet updates, closing date of a service, training hours required by the staff and a consolidated report of their work details, pay for work completed etc. It also has leave application, leave approval status, Holidays from the organization, change password option and the feedback to the admin as well.

The end result:
With such a neat and clearly sketched out application for the company, we were able to help Astral manage all their in-house details effectively, especially those data related to the Customer relations management and the Company resource Management. The client was very happy with our application and applauded us for the success.
